Oh yes! You read that right! After 4 years of begging/nagging/annoying my husband to go on another vacation, it's finally happening. He keeps telling me that he's actually ready for a vacation, but I'm sure it's just because he's tired of listening to me. Either way I'm going to be honest here and say that I really don't care because it's long overdue and I deserve it by golly. In late July we will be heading to St. Pete, FL for some relaxation and sun-bathing. Saying I can't wait is an understatement. I'm so anxious just for plain ole' R&R and to see Kayleigh's reaction to the beach and ocean.
Ahhh....I can hear the ocean waves already.
I wish I could say there's other news, but it's winter time here in good ole' Indiana and it is simply just the MOST boring time of year. It's been too cold to get out and do anything which makes for a very busy and sometimes fussy toddler. The few days that it has been seasonably warm, we have made sure to get outside for both Kayleigh and the dogs. We are all hoping and praying that the warmer weather will be here any day now.
